All resent his superior and demanding attitude. So, when he is found dead in the vicarage study, there is no end of suspects. His wife Ann was having an affair with a local artist, Lawrence Redding. His daughter Lettice bridled under his strict rule. There is also the vicar and his assistant, whom Protheroe suspected of stealing church funds. Finally, there is the mysterious Mrs. Lester with whom he clearly had some previous connection. Jane Marple, recuperating at home from a sprained ankle, had a bird`s eye view of all the comings and goings at the vicarage around the time of the murder and she gladly assists Inspector Slack in solving the crime.

2022-11-16 2015.11.6谁人理当是我第一个看的马普尔系列的电视剧，n年前在央视看的，起初又看了原版，剧情记不清楚了，但凶手还记得是谁。故事里又一堆英剧大熟脸～很喜好这一集对马普尔姑娘的过去的描摹，喜好这个年青马普尔的女演员，感到气质太棒了，当然啤酒谋杀案中如何也恨不起来～
2022-11-02 感受Marple里的凶手尽是为爱痴狂。德爵长得太心爱当然看他发脾气照旧有种傲娇感，可以或许是脚色跟四五十那会儿演的villan不一样当然没合用眼神杀？JT姨妈演异性恋老是看着惊愕，RachelS配TimM照旧太漂亮了说真爱换我都不信啊，麦哥就一软塌塌酱油。
